For full-size pickup trucks, nothing outclasses the GMC Sierra HD models (2500 and 3500). With seven trims, premium interiors, and vaunted towing capacities, these trucks work and play hard. And the AT4 trims get an upgrade to the AT4X when you want even better off-road capabilities.
You’ve got seven trims to choose from with the GMC Sierra HD, grouped into three main categories.
The Pro, SLE, and SLT trims are for everyday work, such as going from job site to job site around Springfield or managing your rural property when you need to haul equipment, livestock, or supplies around your acreage.
Then you’ve got the AT4 and AT4X trims designed for off-roading adventures, whether you’re heading to the Iron Mountain region or love hitting wilderness trails at your favorite ranch resort vacation spot.
Saving the best for last, the Denali and Denali Ultimate trims encase you and your family in luxury with a high-end cab that is as posh and comfortable as the outside is durable.
For the 2500 models, the Crew Cab has a best-in-class max towing capacity of 22,070 pounds. You’ll be able to haul livestock to the stockyards to sell, move heavy equipment from site to site, or haul your boat or camper for weekend outings or summer vacations.
With the 3500 models, you get a max towing capacity of 36,000 pounds, a full 18 tons, for your largest projects. Need to get the combine to another field? How about your new boat to your summer home in the Gulf? The GMC Sierra 3500 can handle those hauls with ease.
The new GMC Sierra HD offers the most trailering-assistance technologies in its class, including 14 available camera views with an enhanced transparent trailer view to truly see what’s behind you.
An available enhanced, industry-first transparent trailer feature lets you virtually “see through” the trailer. Using cameras mounted on the rear of the truck and the back of the trailer, it pieces together views of the area behind the truck as if the trailer were invisible. You can see precisely what’s behind the trailer, perfect for when driving on highways.
The camera that looks into the bed allows you to zoom, and it creates an augmented reality guide that shows you where you need to turn the bed in order to get the gooseneck trailer connected.
At the back of the bed, you can see the hitch when you’re backing up. This is perfect for inclement weather or when you’re connecting the trailer by yourself. It also makes trailering more efficient.
Two cameras, activated when you use a turn signal, show the full length of the trailer to help you when changing lanes. You’ll need a compatible trailer to make this function work. But it can save you an accident on the highway for sure.
Both of the GMC Sierra HD trucks come with two engines to choose from. Both are mated to a world-class Allison 10-speed transmission to make sure every task is handled easily and efficiently.
GMC Sierra pickups are already rugged. But the Denali and Denali Ultimate trims make every ride luxuriously refined. There are reasons why the Sierra HD Denali Ultimate is the most advanced and luxurious pickup in its class.
