Every once in a while, we have a new car for sale on our lot that’s a former courtesy transportation vehicle. We might loan out these vehicles to customers whose repairs may take more than a day.

What Is a Courtesy Transportation Vehicle?

If an auto repair takes more than an hour or two, we provide a courtesy shuttle to take the vehicle owner back to work or their home. You’ve probably seen the white courtesy shuttles around town marked with our logo on them. 

Rather than a courtesy shuttle taking you home or to work during a car repair, we might provide a courtesy transportation vehicle if the repairs take more than a day to complete.  Think of this arrangement as a temporary rental from our dealership but at no cost to you. 

A courtesy transportation vehicle could come in handy for bodywork, transmission repair, engine work, or more extensive repairs. We will, of course, let you know how long we expect a repair to take. Our staff will do everything we can to make the time your vehicle is in for repairs as stress-free as possible.

Are Courtesy Transportation Vehicles New Vehicles?

Yes, we sell them as new vehicles on our lot. We typically sell them at a discount after they reach a certain time or mileage in the Courtesy Transportation program. Courtesy transportation vehicles are in great condition because our service center maintains them according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Almost all of them have less than 3,000 miles on them.

If you want a late-model vehicle that’s like new but less expensive than new, consider purchasing a former courtesy transportation vehicle to get a high-quality SUV in your garage.
